BOARD MEMBERS

Our board members come from various backgrounds, industries and  extensive experience advocating for small, woman-owned and minority businesses throughout their careers and the uniqueness of their passion and faith in small businesses. Meet our board members.

MISSION

Our mission is to increase the net worth of women and minority businesses while advocating with organizations we engage and do business with for diversity, equity, inclusion, and transparency.

We will achieve our mission by: 

  • amplifying the voice and the experience of the underserved women and minority business communities.
  • educating, training, inspiring, and engaging our local community.
  • fostering youth apprenticeship and internship.
  • building capacity and developing business strategies, business plan, and organizational structure.
  • increasing participation in all and impartial opportunities.
  • providing access to capital, cash flow and other financial endeavors.
  • establishing a platform for all women and minority businesses while creating opportunities for growth.
  • facilitating discounts afforded to members: insurance, bonding and medical, construction supplies, etc.
  • promoting utilization of Women and Minority Business members in public and private contracting. 
  • assisting minority businesses for Washington State, Federal, and other certifications.
  • encouraging mentor protégé and establish mutually beneficial developmental programs
  • advocating for the rights of women and minority businesses through local and national legislation.
  • forming strategic alliances, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Our vision is to be the trusted voice and indispensable resource for women and minority owned businesses while transforming challenges into opportunities.
