The Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) has released a new certification: Federal Small Business Enterprise (FSBE).
Oregon- and Washington‑based firms are eligible and may apply directly to OMWBE for this certification.
This information is especially relevant as the Columbia River Bridge Replacement (CRBR) procurement will include an FSBE goal for both the design and construction phases of the contract. With the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) anticipated for release this summer, it is essential that interested small businesses obtain FSBE certification before proposal submission.
